Country artists like Alan Jackson, Luke Bryan, and Miranda Lambert have been opening bars in downtown Nashville, with Eric Church and Garth Brooks being the latest to join the trend.

Maren Morris expressed her desire to open a bar called “My Church” in an old church building in Nashville, inspired by her Texas roots and the city’s bar scene.

With Morgan Wallen also set to open a bar soon, the trend of artist-owned bars in Nashville continues to grow, potentially adding to the city’s vibrant nightlife while keeping tourists entertained.

“I’ve lived in Nashville for 11 years now…They have not figured out Tex-Mex food in Tennessee…Maybe that’s what my next thing should be, not that I know anything about it. I’ve always wanted to open a bar in Nashville called My Church. And it would be in an old church, maybe a Catholic one,” Morris said during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
