Now at first glance you see a crazed fan of Carrie Underwood because Lawrence Young’s Chevy Silverado is plastered with her face!

But in fact this truck has beautiful story to it…it’s a dedication to his late wife Kathi! Back in 2010 Kathi underwent surgery and woke up with brain damage! She was bedridden with limited capacity to communicate. Lawrence and Kathi spent their last few days together listening to Carrie Underwood. One of Kathi’s final requests to her husband was “When she died, she told me, ‘Stick with Carrie’s music and it will help you through life.'”

And so he is…

Lawrence said it costs about $2000 and 10 days to complete the project and has had many offers from people to buy it!

He said “I didn’t do this for money or attention. I did this as a tribute to Carrie and my wife. My dream is to have Carrie see it in person and autograph the hood.”

Lawrence said his favorite song of Carrie’s is ‘Church Bells‘
