A 7 year old girl was born with Poland Syndrome, a birth defect that left her missing three fingers on her right hand, has a dream to throw the ceremonial first pitch for every Major League Baseball team. Teams are coming together to help make Hailey Dawson’s dream come true.

Hailey wants to set the record for the most number of ceremonial first pitches to show kids with handicaps can still do amazing things. Hailey has a 3D-printed hand, which helps her throw. She’s already thrown out the opening pitch at Nationals Park and Camden Yards and now that more teams know her story, they are trying to schedule her for a game!

Hailey’s mum says: “She has no fear. She has no care about what other people think. When people ask her, she says, ‘This is what I was born with. You were born with blue eyes, I was born with his hand. This is me.’
