Some say that laughter is the best medicine. Although this may be true, some other cures are obviously available to us. Now I’m not talking about pills and potions, but music! Music Is Healing and I first hand felt it over the weekend!

I was asked to join a baseball team for a weekend tournament. I love the sport and was excited BUT I also had a bit of a head cold. Coughing, slight fever, and a weak body was going to keep me from performing well on the field. I reached out to my favourite form of medicine…MUSIC! This weekend I found the trio The Cadillac Three fueling my body for every game! Their southern rock style of country music got my blood flowin’ and ready to take the field!

Jaren Johnston (lead vocals and guitar), Kelby Ray (bass guitar, Dobro ((coolest intrument)), acoustic guitar and back-up vocals), and Neil Mason (drums and back-up vocals) make up this band known as The Cadillac Three! Before the three had their own gig, they were apart of a band called American Bang. They were best known for writing hits like ‘You Gonna Fly‘ for Keith Urban and ‘Days of Gold‘ for Jake Owen.

In late 2013, TC3 released its debut single ‘The South‘. It features guest vocals from Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, and Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band.

Their debut record “The Cadillac Black” got the attention of Big Machine Records, but it was their second record “Bury Me In My Boots” that got them noticed on the charts. It debuted at #5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart!

Their music was able to heal me over the weekend and helped me stay energetic to win a Championship! Because of that The Cadillac Three is Ryan’s Pick Of The Week!

Here they are with their New Single ‘Dang If We Didn’t
