Ryan's Pick Of the Week: Scotty James

Many people don’t really get to hear a lot of country music! They hear what’s on the radio and maybe those A-Lister playlists on iTunes or Spotify. Local Kitchener boy Scotty James is one that you should’ve been watching because his progress is outstanding!

Always writing and performing, Scotty James doesn’t shy away from the old pen and paper method!

Scotty joined me in studio twice! First time he was excited to be releasing his single ‘My Car‘

A few short months after that he came back to Country 106.7 because he would be opening up for Tebey at the Stampede Corral in Kitchener!

Every time he showed up there was always something to talk about! Working on new music, working on production, getting a music video done! If you love what you do it’s not work!

But how he got here, on this radio station, on your iPhones, in your ears…that story is something out of a storybook! I would love to go on about it, but Scotty put together a video and I think he explains it better!
