The cities of Kitchener and Waterloo invited everyone to join in a community candlelight vigil to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks that devastated major cities around the world over the past three days, most notably in Paris.

It will be held tonight (November 15th) at Carl Zehr Square beginning at 7 p.m.

Waterloo Region will stand in solidarity with France during it’s time of mourning.

Mayors Berry Vrbanovic and Dave Jaworsky will co-host the event, joined by Regional Chair Ken Seiling and Waterloo Regional Police Chief Bryan Larkin.

Residents are being asked to bring their own candles.
