I recently gave you a #HumbleAndKind story about 7 year old Hailey Dawson, who has a dream of throwing the first pitch at every MLB ballpark. Well, here’s a happy update for ya! Hailey will be taking the mound to toss the ceremonial pitch during game four of the World Series this year!

Hailey was born with Poland Syndrome and uses a 3-D printed hand, but that has not slowed her down one bit or kept her from pursuing her love of baseball. And her mom says they were totally surprised when they got a call from the MLB’s vice president.

Hailey Dawson, a 5-year-old from Las Vegas, throws the ceremonial first pitch before a game between the Baltimore Orioles and Oakland Athletics on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at Camden Yards in Baltimore. Hailey was born with Poland Syndrome. Engineering students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas created the "Flexy Hand 2" that she wore to throw the ball. Vice President of the MLB Frank Robinson said ‘We want to invite your whole family to a World Series game. And we want Hailey to throw out the first pitch”
