I’m often accused of being a Grinch…but would a Grinch attend a Christmas concert one full month before the big day?? Well, he would if it was a concert put on by Grand River Voices. What fun we had last night at Duff’s Presbyterian Church in Puslinch!

I was invited by my friend, Amy, who’s the choir director and I’m always happy to support a friend. Not to mention listen to some live music! And I must say, Grand River Voices are GOOD! The show was highly entertaining, it sounded great, and despite the grey, rainy weather, we all left in the Christmas spirit. It really was a great way to spend a couple hours of my evening.

The concert series is called “Colour Me Christmas” and if you’d like to check out the remaining performances, there’s still time! The series continues for the next week or so.

Saturday, November 26th at 7:30 PM — Community Christian Reformed Church, Kitchener

Friday, December 2nd at 7:30 PM — Waterloo-Oxford High School, Baden

Sunday, December 4th at 2 PM — Calvin Presbyterian Church, Kitchener

There may or may not have been an incident of me playing the cowbell during last night’s performance. It was entirely unscripted — not to mention out of my element — but who doesn’t want the chance to play the cowbell in front of an audience? I simply couldn’t say no.

I hope you get a chance to check out another concert in the series. I can’t promise I’ll be there playing the cowbell but I can guarantee you the entire family will have a good time.

Merry Christmas. 🙂
